We couldn't have wished for a better result.
At the annual congress of the VNG (the Association of Netherlands Municipalities), it was already clear how closely the approach and solutions of Everyday Heroes fit the current themes and challenges facing municipalities. Besides a great first introduction to many local leaders, it was above all the conversations that stayed with us. The commitment, the action-oriented mindset, the ambition to make an impact for all residents over the next four years.
For dozens of mayors, aldermen and councillors, that introduction was reason enough to want to get started right away. And for 30 of them, we can do exactly that. Thanks to the support of Johma, Heks'nkaas, PQR, the Visio Foundation and PB Communication, they'll soon see for themselves how easy it is, how quickly it takes effect and what impact our work has.
Because sharing success stories is part of our work, we'll keep track of how things develop on this page. The stories, the responses and the positive effects. As always, we do that from the perspective of everyone involved: candidates, local leaders, support workers and funders!
