Pascinni’s story
Pascinni completed a master’s degree in dairy farming at a university of applied sciences in 2020. Although her academic background was in agrifood, she soon discovered her passion for digital products and user experience. In 2022, she took an intensive UI/UX bootcamp at Ironhack, earning her certification in 2023. It was a deliberate shift from supply-chain optimisation to digital product development.
Since September 2025, Pascinni has worked in the product and development team at an innovative IT company. There, she noticed a recurring problem: the gap between design and implementation. Designs looked good in Figma, but lost impact or nuance when translated into code. Pascinni decided to bridge that gap herself. By combining her design skills with front-end development, she makes sure her design decisions move beyond the page and come to life in the product. Through collaboration, iteration and shared ownership, she helps improve product quality over time.
Her ambition is clear: to grow as a UI/UX developer who can turn strong, user-friendly designs into working solutions. She wants to keep deepening her UX and technical skills, and eventually move into a Lead Designer role where she can shape product strategy and safeguard design quality as well as design.
For Pascinni, this job is more than work. It gives her ownership of what she creates: she sees her designs in the finished product. She is growing in responsibility, confidence and understanding of the product. Her role also involves regular client visits, often to remote locations with limited public transport. A driving licence is essential for her to do her job reliably. It is even a requirement in her contract.
Pascinni sees herself becoming a Lead Designer who develops impactful, scalable digital solutions. Someone who thinks strategically, guides others and stays close to both the user and the end result. A designer who creates beautiful interfaces and, above all, real value.
