BECAUSE YOU CAN DO MORE

Get started in work that suits you, work that takes you further, or as a volunteer.

You fall under the Participation Act, receive social assistance or Wajong (a benefit for young people with a disability), you're a newcomer or you have no benefits at all, and you want to move on. You want to get started, take the next step in work, start a business or do an internship or volunteer work, for example. You're motivated, you've got plenty to offer and a healthy dose of perseverance.

That is, if it weren't for that one practical snag. The laptop you need, a bike to get to work, a driving licence so you can get around for your employer, a certificate or, say, healthy teeth. These are exactly the solutions that often don't fit existing schemes, budgets or policy frameworks. And they're the ones that make the difference!

That's where we come in. For all the people like you, whatever your background, wherever you come from, whatever you have or haven't done. We provide exactly the tailored support that's missing for all those obstacles nobody else has a solution for. So:

IMPACT MULTIPLIES

With the wind in his sails and work on the water, John is setting course for a fresh start.

"All those people and organisations who stand by you and help you through the tough moments. That's what makes it possible to keep going."

John lost his home, ended up in a shelter and is working incredibly hard on his recovery and independence. Through the municipality, John joined a programme focused on working on the water.

The work fits John's passion for sailing and boats perfectly. Motivated, eager to learn and reliable, John gets the chance to start a trial placement as a deckhand in hydraulic engineering. He proves himself in the first few months. The days are long, but the work is so much fun it doesn't feel like work. John is heading for a contract of more than a year, with a view to a permanent position.

That lets John take the next step towards a stable life. To keep growing, he needs to train as a boatman. After the course, he can register as an ordinary seaman and then as a boatman. His employer is sure John will make it.

The only thing: for the course, John needed a laptop. So we provided one.
