BANKING COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT

Contributing structurally to a diverse labour market

BANKING COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT

Did you know that more than 350 people from a vulnerable position have already found work through this agreement?

When shaping their collective labour agreement (CAO), banks and unions found a way to contribute structurally to a diverse and inclusive labour market: Impact Packages from Everyday Heroes. As a result, a large group of people find a job that suits their abilities and ambitions, with all the chances and opportunities that brings them.

They chose Everyday Heroes because the impact is guaranteed and measurable: you can agree exactly what you want to achieve. Negotiators value that transparency, and the banks can make a concrete, visible contribution to getting more people into work. This collective agreement has already helped more than two hundred people into work. And it has only made the banks and unions more enthusiastic.

Medy van der Laan | Chair, Dutch Banking Association (NVB)

"We know what work does for you and the value it has in your life. The Impact Packages from Everyday Heroes translate one-to-one into a job. That's how Triodos is helping Felicia with a laptop, so she can make a start in healthcare while she learns, with a contract for 28 hours a week!"

Inge de Vries | Negotiator, De Unie

Success stories

"A collective agreement covers pay and conditions, and it's about how we treat each other. What value people and work have. With Everyday Heroes, we make that concrete, for people in a vulnerable position too. So that work is dignified and can really mean something. To me, that's the best thing we can agree on together."

Ellen de Ruijter | Board Secretary, Employers' Association for Banks (WVB)
