Landry’s story

“My name is Landry and I live in Wassenaar. I used to be a professional football player and after an accident that forced me to end my career prematurely, I now work as a dean of the company "Ithaka Academy".

The Ithaka Academy guides status holders and ex-detainees to sustainable and meaningful work. Ithaka wants everyone who feels motivated to have the opportunity to participate. We help people to empower themselves. My mission is to facilitate the integration of people into the Dutch system through the Ithaka Academy program.

My work in the Netherlands requires me to travel a lot to different cities and having a car will make it easier for me to get around.

Thanks to the Triodos Bank Impact Package, I can now get my driver's license. I am really happy that they gave me the opportunity to learn to drive and prepare for my driving test (theory and practical).”
